Description: Primarily consists of correspondence between the Chancellor and UW System administrators and various Stout administrators regarding administration. Although the majority of the material relates to administrative and educational policy issues, there is a wide variety of subjects covered relating to all aspects of Stout including campus buildings, curriculum, etc. The series primarily addresses the administration of Stout Chancellor, Robert S. Swanson, but includes a few materials of his predecessor, William J. Micheels. Because this series is organized chronologically, it is difficult to tell how much of the material is duplicated in the Chancellor's Subject and Correspondence File (Stout Series 24). Both series should therefore be used in conjunction with each other.
